HOW TO ACCESS INFR-RED SYSTEM WITH HEARING AIDS

Most hearing aid users can use their hearing aids with the Infra-Red system, via an Infra-Red receiver and neck loop.

1. Set hearing aids to "T" or :telecoil" program. (The telecoil program may need to be set up by your hearing services provider first).

2. Turn the Infra-Red receiver on

3. Place loop around neck.

4. Adjust volume as required.


Note: The Infra-Red receiver must be pointing up, so that the IR beam can travel to the receiver.


HOW TO ACCESS THE INFRA-RED SYSTEM WITH HEAD PHONES

1. Switch headphones on

2. Adjust volume as required

The IR heaphones that many people use with their television are the same kind that this system uses.

Infra-Red headphones made by "Williams Sound" or "Sennheiser" can be used. Infra-Red head phones made by other manufacturers may or may not pick up the signal clearly.
