What do the film ratings stand for?
[G] - General exhibition
Suitable for all viewers.
Parents should feel comfortable that children can watch these movies without
supervision. Access to these films is open to all ages.
[PG] - Parental Guidance recommended for persons under 15 years
This classification indicates
to parents their guidance is recommended for children seeing the film, but
access is unrestricted. Movies classified [PG] will not be harmful or disturbing
to children.
[M] - Mature. Recommended for mature audiences aged 15 or older
It is recommended that
any person under 15 years of age be accompanied by an adult when seeing this
film, as content is considered to be potentially disturbing to those under
this age. The classification is only advisory however, and access to [M] rated
films is legally unrestricted.
[MA] - Mature Accompanied. Restrictions apply to persons under
the age of 15
This classification is
legally restricted. Children under 15 will not be permitted to see [MA] movies
unless in the company of a parent or adult guardian. Cinema staff may ask
for proof of age identification, and are entitled to refuse service if this
is not produced.
[R] - Restricted to adults 18 years and over
Access is legally restricted
to persons aged 18 years or over. No person under 18 years of age will be
allowed in to the cinema at all. Cinema staff are entitled to refuse service
to any person unable to prove they are 18 or older
2. Where can I find session times?
You can find session times on this website and receive weekly updates via
our e-mail newsletter.
Session times are also listed in the following newspapers:
The Border Mail - Albury/Wodonga
You can also phone MovieLine on (02) 6021 3044 . Session times are also on
display at the Cinema Box Office and copies are available at the Cinema.
3. When are session times updated?
Session times on our website are updated each Thursday. We make every effort
to correct the website if any further session times change during the week.
4.
Why don't Showcase films have many sessions?
Distributors
often prefer to release these types of films into a limited number of select
cinemas, usually in inner city areas. This is partly to maintain the exclusivity
of a film but also to reduce the costs involved in reprinting each film. A
single print of a film costs more than $2000 and it is often difficult for
a film distributor to recover this cost at suburban or rural locations. Therefore
we only have film for short amount of time.

How do I make a booking for General Admissions or Gold Class?
Booking the movie you want to see is a great way to make sure you and your
friends get to see the movie you want, when you want. All you have to do is
call our Box Office, inform them of the movie and number of tickets you require
and your credit card details.
Then pick your tickets up at the Box Office at least 30 minutes prior to your movie's screening by simply state your surname, the movie you are attending and pay for the tickets. Easy.
You can
book your next movie tickets now by phoning (02) 6021 3044.

Can I take hot food, glass bottles or cans into the cinemas?
For the comfort and safety of other patrons we DO NOT allow any hot foods,
cans or bottles into the cinemas. Please contact the cinema for further details
on (02) 6021 3044 .
7.
Are prams allowed into the cinemas?
Unfortunately due to Public Safety and Fire regulations we are not permitting
prams into our cinemas.
We do
not except liability for prams left on the premises unattended. However we
will do our best, with your permission to monitor your pram. For further advice
or discussion regarding our prams policy please contact our Cinema Manager
on (02) 6041 2655.
8.
What does No Free Tickets mean?
'No Free Tickets' is a restriction placed by film distribution companies on
some newly released movies. No complimentary coupons or free passes can be
used for these films until the restriction is lifted - generally until the
film has been showing for about two weeks. Some major release movies may remain
restricted for a longer period.
The 'No Free Tickets' restriction does not apply to pre-paid vouchers such
as Screen Savers, Gift Vouchers & Star Passes.

Why does the website look wrong on my computer?
The Regent Cinemas website has been designed and built for Microsoft Internet
Explorer version 4.0 or above and Netscape 4.7. It has been designed for a
screen resolution of at least 800 x 600 pixels.
Variations in different browsers and operating systems will affect the way
the site is displayed. Despite this, every attempt has been made to ensure
the site is displayed to its optimum and functions consistently across all
browsers and platforms.
If you are experiencing problems, we recommend you try upgrading to the latest version of your preferred browser. You can find free downloads of the latest version of Internet Explorer by clicking here.
10. Why won't movie trailers play on my computer?
Trailers are supplied to this website via the Village Cinemas website and
film distribution companies. Many distributors are now producing these trailers
in Quicktime version 5.0 only, the latest version of this software. To view
the trailers correctly you need to download this new software, which is available
free if you click
here.
We also recommend you install the latest release web browser. You can find
free downloads of Microsoft Internet Explorer version 4.0 or higher by clicking
here.
